Fakie Ollie

Today we will cover the fakie ollie. It's really a simple trick, but again one that everyone needs to know. It also feels way better than a simple Ollie.

Ok so you're going to set your feet up like you would for an Ollie, but remember that you're going to be riding backwards, so your back foot is actually going to be facing the way you are riding. Basically start of in switch, but then shift your feet so you are basically in a switch nollie position. This is fakie.

Once you're going at a decent speed, and you have your feet set up, pop what is now the nose of the board as hard as you can. As you are doing this you will slide your front foot (now your back) up to start leveling out the board.

Once your board is leveled out, shift your weight so that your weight is centred, and so that your feet are over the bolts.

All thats left do do now is land, so just straighten your legs out, keep your balance and ride away.

You're going to be riding away in switch, so it'll take a bit of practice to learn how to land a trick in switch but keep at it as much as you can. Just remember to not take skating too seriously and just have fun.
