BS Fakie Shuv

The BS Fakie Shuv is a pretty hard trick to learn. The board is rotating like a FS Shuv, so it's harder to see your board, and harder for you to spot when you're going to catch the board. The best advice is to stick with it. Just commit to landing the trick and you will get it eventually.

First of all ride in Fakie at a pretty slow speed. Set your feet up like you're doing a FS Shuv, except you'll be riding Fakie.

Wind your shoulders the opposite way that you're going to spin, and as you pop, un-wind them, and scoop your foot that isn't popping towards you, to start the board in a rotation.

Keep your weight centred, and try keep the board underneath you as it rotates.

As the board comes around and finishes the 180 rotation, catch the board with both feet, get your balance and get your feet over the bolts.

Once you've got your balance, straighten your legs, and nail the trick. Now all you've got to do is ride away and be happy with yourself.
